How Are Juz Shared in a Quran Khatm?

1Two khatm models: a shared pool, or sharing Juz

The person who creates the circle is the Ser-refik; those who join are called Refik. The model follows the type you pick in Create Circle. For La Ilaha Illallah, Surah Al-Ikhlas and Salawat everyone adds their count to a shared pool; no one sees who recited how much, only Shared Progress grows. For Quran Khatm the 30 Juz are numbered: you claim a Juz, it is written to you, and you tap Read when you finish. Surah Yasin is created today like a dhikr khatm, with a pool target (default 41).

2How do you create a Quran khatm circle?

In Create Circle choose Quran Khatm. The form has the circle name, icon, color, optional Intention (placeholder: Gift for our late father's soul), Cycle mode (One-time or Continuous) and Visibility. There is no pool target for this type; the 30 Juz open as the Hatim List.

3Claiming, reading, and returning a Juz

On the Hatim List, tap Claim on an empty row: that numbered Juz is written to you. On your row, Read marks it complete and Return gives it back — Return means the Juz goes back to the pool so someone else can take it. Filters: All, Available, Completed. You need to be signed in to claim a Juz; if you do not choose a username, the app assigns you a guest username.

4One-time and Continuous rounds

In One-time mode the khatm closes when all 30 Juz are done; the Ser-refik can tap Start New Hatim to empty the slots again. In Continuous mode a new round opens on its own when the last Juz is completed, and the completed-round count increases. The intention appears on the circle card.

5What can the Ser-refik do?

They can tap someone else's unread Juz and return it to the pool, use Transfer to give it to another Refik, or Assign Task to fill empty Juz. The Participants tab shows how many Juz each person holds and how many are read — usernames stay visible on a Juz khatm so the list can be coordinated.
