How to Create and Join a Circle?

1What is a Circle?

A Circle is a space where several people contribute together toward a shared goal. The person who creates it is the Ser-refik; those who join are called Refik. There are two models: in dhikr types such as La Ilaha Illallah, Surah Al-Ikhlas and Salawat, contributions collect in a shared pool; in Quran and Yasin khatms, Juz are shared among members and each Refik completes the portion they take on.

2How do you create a new Circle?

On the home screen tap Add, open the Circle tab, then tap + Circle. First you choose a type: La Ilaha Illallah, Quran Khatm, Surah Yasin, Surah Al-Ikhlas or Salawat. The next step is the Create Circle form; it fills in according to the type you picked. This guide uses La Ilaha Illallah as the example: circle name, pool target (default 70,000), icon, color, optional intention, cycle mode (One-time or Continuous) and visibility. Quran and Yasin share Juz instead of a pool; you can also add a date plan if you like. You must be signed in and have a username to create a circle.

3How do you join a Circle with an invite?

From the same Circle tab, tap Join. Enter the 6-character invite code shared by the Ser-refik; the Join button enables once the code is complete. A request is sent, and when the Ser-refik approves it the circle is added to your list. You must also be signed in and have a username to join.

4Visibility: Public or Private?

The Visibility field on Create Circle does not turn the shield on or off; it sets whether a non-member can see the circle. Public: someone who opens the invite link can see the circle name and shared progress. Private: a non-member sees a lock screen. In both cases joining still needs a request that the Ser-refik approves. Individual pool counts stay hidden in both settings.
